PRINCIPAL PRIMARY UPDATE – REPORT CARD REVISIONS

Dear Parents,

Amazingly, we are already nearing the end of our first semester. In a few weeks time, you will be receiving your child’s report card which we hope will provide you with a window into your child’s progress this semester.
There should be no surprises in the report cards as any significant issues should have already been communicated. That said, we will hand out report cards on Tuesday 13th, in case you need to make any inquiries before the holidays.
Please note that we have made two revisions to this year’s report cards.
  • Reports from our Student Support Team (i.e. Learning Support and English as an Additional Language) will now be included in the Semester Report Card rather than in a separate report. This should be particularly helpful in terms of keeping all relevant information in one place.
  • Art will no longer be reported on as a Stand Alone subject in the Primary School. Instead, homeroom teachers will report on Art in the same way as they do with other disciplines that are taught through the Units of Inquiry such as Science and Social Studies.
Feel free to come and chat with me if you need further clarification on either of these revisions. Thank you as always for your ongoing support.
