University Visits and Events Coming Up

Tuesday February 14 – Bellevue College, Seattle, Washington, USA in the Counselor’s Office from 11:40-12:30. This college is an open-access, community-based, public (state-assisted) institution of higher education. With an annual enrollment of 37,000 students, it is the largest of the 34 institutions that make up the Washington Community and Technical Colleges system, and the third-largest institution of higher education overall in the state (behind the University of Washington and Washington State University).

Wednesday February 15 – CollegeWeek Live – International Students Day. Hundreds of colleges and universities will be online on Feb. 15-16 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM Bali Time. You must register before hand. Click here for registration and the list of schools.

Tuesday February 21 – Linden Fair. Snack time 9:30-10:00 PM in Room 9.

Eastern Washington University, Washington – Eastern’s 300-acre parklike campus is just 17 miles from Washington’s second largest city, Spokane. It is the state’s fastest growing public institution, yet maintains a 21:1 student-faculty ratio. At Eastern students can study disciplines such as biotechnology, cyber security, forensic science, entrepreneurship, children’s studies, dental hygiene and urban planning.

Elon University, North Carolina – Elon leads the nation in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of eight programs that promote student success. Kiplinger’s annually ranks Elon among the nation’s most affordable private universities and it has a 12:1 student-faculty ratio.

Kansas State University, Kansas – K-State is located in Manhattan, which was ranked the No. 1 college town in the nation by Livability.com in 2015. They award more than $29 million in scholarships each year and offers more than 250 majors.

Whittier College, California – A small private liberal arts college offering over 30 majors and 30 minors offered in 23 disciplines with an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning.
