#myFREEDOMday highlight reel

What a celebration of freedom we had last Tuesday, March 14 at BIS. There were postcard competitions, freedom walls to sign, BIS live, face painting, an international march with live brass band, a true/false game to raise awareness about modern day slavery and a whole secondary school group photo.

Attached is a video compilation of the activities on the day created by Yuki Omamiuda in his own time. The second background song in the video is a revised version of Passenger’s “Let Her Go” written and performed by Alba Romero and Sasha Moore. The lyrics have been re-written to illustrate the story of Sumarti Ningsi that the students focused on during their Service as Action project.
