BIS are BSSA CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONS 2017!

BIS continues to show sporting dominance in 2017 with another BSSA Championship. Our Cross Country team had limited preparation with IISSAC Swimming just a few weeks ago but through PE athletics, athletics club and wonderful general fitness, our trials event showed we would have a formidable team.

We had individual age group champions in Skye Sutherland and Jacob von Harrach, a second place to Charlie Cunningham, thirds to Carl Dominic and Harley, and top 5 finishes to Gaspard, Emily, Isabela, Sienna and Molly.

A number of our other runners were top 10 finishers winning points towards our championship total including Jadon Scures who followed a CCS runner on a wrong turn and still finished in 6th.

The entire team are to be congratulated on the way they ran and the way they conducted themselves at the event.
