SEAMC

On Wednesday 28th of February, 9 secondary students left to go to Manila, Philippines to compete in the South East Asia Math Competition (SEAMC). We spent 5 days there and enjoyed meeting new people and participating in fun math activities. We got to go to a theme park and investigated about the math that surrounds us, listen to some interesting guest speakers and spectated some intense rounds. This competition helped us build up on our learning and was an engaging experience. You would think that a math competition would be boring, but those past few days taught us a different way to see math. We came home without any prizes but with lots of exciting memories. Anyways, we hope next year we see new faces in the team and take home some medals and trophies!
