This year, we have more than 40 new students joining our BIS Community. We look forward to greeting all of you on Thursday, August 2 at 9:00 a.m. Please join us in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) for introductions.

Many people have been very busy throughout the summer improving our campus facilities. Many thanks to the ground staff for all of their efforts. The campus looks beautiful.

I would like to congratulate last year’s Senior class and the BIS Faculty for their strong efforts in the IB Program. The average IB score for the class was 32 points. This is two better than the world average and demonstrates that the IB Program at BIS is highly effective.

There are many ways to become involved in your child’s education. We will host parent information sessions and educational programs about our school and programs that influence your child’s experience. Please use our library to check out books and read with your child. Please consider becoming involved in the PTA and help these programs support your child’s experience as well. If you have a particular experience that you would like to share with a group of students, we welcome that opportunity as well. Please read the attached Student Parent Handbook which provides many details about how we operate as a community.

I look forward to seeing you all on the first day of school.
