Appointment of Secondary Principal: Mr. Justin Walsh

Good afternoon everyone,

The selection process for the new Secondary Principal starting in July 2016 has now come to a close. I would like to thank everyone involved in the process particularly the search committee and the parents, students, and staff members who conducted interviews and gave thoughtful, detailed feedback.

We were very fortunate to have many highly accomplished educators apply for the position and have our final three candidates be very capable and impressive.

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Justin Walsh will be taking up the position. He will be joining us with his wife Karli and their two children Isabela and Finnian.

Justin is currently the High School Associate Principal at The American School of Doha, Qatar. He has held this position for five years and been at the school since 2007. Justin will bring many qualities, skills and experiences with him which will benefit our community. I am particularly pleased with his extensive curriculum experience that will help us ensure that we are fully enabling our students to succeed.

Ms. Stanton and I will be working with Justin to create a transition process. However, for the moment, we have the majority of this school year left and we will focus on making this year the very best it can be!
