SECURITY – Hiring Staff for your Family

BIS maintains strict regulations when hiring staff, or permitting external contractors, to work at our school with and around your children.

We highly recommend you do the same when employing staff for your home.

This is outlined in section 3.7 of the ‘BIS Parent Student Handbook’ but we would recommend you obtain copies of a potential employee’s identification papers (KTP/Kartu Keluarga), a police clearance/check, and references from previous employees that you are able to contact. Being able to call previous employers can be particularly valuable.

By ensuring you have done due diligence with your employees you are helping to ensure the safety of not only your own home and children, but also the entire BIS community.
