Blogs, Docs, Gmail, Drive, ePortfolios, Presentations, Screenshot… ask any BIS 3rd Grader what these terms mean and they will introduce you to a whole new world!
As part of our units of inquiry in Grade 3, the students are encouraged to use technology skills as a means to express their learning and to show their understanding of new ideas and concepts. The amazing thing about these ‘digital natives’ is that they are super speedy at grasping new tech skills and seem to have an innate ability to pick up new techniques as soon as they are developed.
