Child Protection Lessons in the Primary

Dear Parents,

During Term 4 the Primary classroom teachers, together with the School Counselor, will be conducting several Child Protection guidance lessons. The classes will focus on identifying and naming feelings and public/private body parts, types of rules about touch, being assertive and saying “No”, and identifying adults they trust. We will be reinforcing the PANTS rules to help our students stay safe. For next year, these lessons will be incorporated into Units of Inquiry.
