Grade 4 Market for BAWA

Dear Parents, students and teachers,

On Friday the 6th of April, the grade 4 class will be hosting the “Grade 4 Market” here at BIS, inside and outside the Grade4 room. The purpose of this market is for students to enhance their understanding of the central idea, Economic Activity Relies on Systems of Production, Exchange and Consumption of Goods and Services.

Furthermore, we are also raising money for those in need, whereby we will be raising funds for BAWA. Each class will have 30 minutes to look, shop and/or donate to the market during class time. Please note that while there will be no physical exchange of funds with Preschool, they will be well cared for and able to participate in the activities and receive prizes on the day. Furthermore, we are aiming for a ‘last resort only’ use of plastic on the day.
