PTFA News – April edition
Selamat Hari Kartini!
Thank you to the Indonesian moms, beautiful as always in colorful kebayas in honor of the Kartini Day, who provided an Indonesian snack for the students this morning. It was much appreciated!
Again, many thanks to everyone who participated in organizing, or attended, the BIS Fair. It was a fun afternoon with games, music, food, and shopping. Very importantly, it also helped the PTFA raise funds for our charities, and the projects we are working towards. We are very grateful for the community support we received, and without volunteers events like these could not take place.
Which brings us to the next event: BSSA Swim Carnival, taking place on Tuesday, April 24! The PTFA will be having a BBQ, so please send your child/ren to school with some money to spend on hotdogs, gimbabs, fruit and drinks, as usual. And if you have a bit of time to spare, we are looking for volunteers to man the stand from 8am until 2:30pm.
The swimsuits are being made and should be ready by Monday, just in time for the carnival.
Also, the PTFA has attempted to contact all raffle prize winners via SMS. If you have yet to collect your prize, please get in touch with us. A good opportunity to do so, is on Wednesday, April 25 at 7:50am at the monthly PTFA meeting, where we will also catch up on upcoming events and projects. Come for the coffee, stay for the chat!
Have a great weekend!
