BIS ATHLETICS 2018 – Tuesday 15th May
This Tuesday we have the annual BIS Athletics Competition. The students have been working hard in PE, Athletics Club and also in before and after school specialist training.
The Athletics Competition is for all students from Gr 3- Gr 11 and even any Gr 12’s who do not have exams and want to join the fun.
Attached is a documents with information about the day but the basics are:
- Students come to school at the normal time in house colours and running shoes. Bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and either food or money to buy food from the PTFA stall.
- Buses leave BIS at 8.15am and arrive ready to start the first event (100m) by 9.20am.
- Events conclude with the relays at 2.00pm. Students can either go home with parents or driver from the stadium or by bus getting back to school by 2.45-3.00pm.
NOTE: If you, or your driver, are collecting your child from the athletics you must inform their teacher in charge. If your child is going home with another parent/driver they must have a permission note from you stating the family they will go home with.
From the results of the BIS Competition a team will be selected to compete at the BSSA Athletics on June 4th.
