Bali Sports Foundation and BIS

BIS continues to work with the Bali Sports Foundation providing our facilities to help them spread the joy of sporting competition amongst Balinese with disabilities.

Two weeks ago they held the ‘Friendly Games’ (photos above) and recently members visited to help Mr Watsons Grade 4 students work with Kids from the Kupu Kupu Foundation to try out wheelchair basketball.

In the June/July holiday period BIS has donated the use of our facilities to BSF on the following dates and times:

• July 6-10    Special Olympics Basketball:  1000-1200 + 1600-1800
• July 11-15   5th Bali Cup International Wheelchair Basketball: 0900-1800
• July 16-22  4th Bali 4’s International Wheelchair Rugby  0900-1800

The BIS community is welcome to make use of the courts outside these times however please remember BIS students must be accompanied by a parent. Drivers/pembantus are not permitted to take responsibility for your children on school grounds outside school hours.
