Child Protection and Safety Tips

Thank you to all of you who attended our Parent Information Session on Child Protection and Safety at BIS last Monday.  For those who couldn’t make it, here is a copy of the powerpoint presentation.

An excellent resource on this topic is the non-profit Common Sense Media Foundation.  It has a wealth of information including: Media reviews based on age level appropriateness, family guides that help support good device choices, and an excellent “Parent Concerns” section covering a host of topics relating to being a parent in the modern age.  To access the parent specific information click the “For Parents” tab on the upper left.
