June/July Holiday Facility Use

With the June/July holiday period ahead of us many family will be heading off island for a break. For those who are staying on the island the BIS facilities including the pool, courts and big field, are available as a privilege to members of the BIS community.

If you plan to use the facilities during the holiday break you will be required to sign a waiver with security before your first use. A copy of the waiver is here: Facility Waiver

A guide to facility use:

Swimming Pool – this is available when Pak Nyoman Jupon (swimming pool attendant) is on duty. This is from 8.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday. The pool will be locked at all other times. Parents must be supervising students within the pool compound at all times. Pak Nyoman Jupon will be on leave on the 15th to the 25th of July so the pool will be closed those days other than for the regular schedule of Bali Renang Lessons.

Courts – The courts are available during daylight hours only on a first come first served basis.

Climbing Wall – Due to the inherent risk involved clearance must be obtained in advance from the Student Life Coordinator or the Head of School.

Big Field – this is available during daylight hours and only for family groups – not for organised games. The holiday break is the time the grass gets to repair and as we are starting in August with the football season we want the field to have the best opportunity to repair.

NOTE – for all facility use please remember BIS students must be accompanied by their parent. Drivers/pembantus are not permitted to take responsibility for your children on school grounds outside school hours. Please present your BIS ID to security and sign in before use.
