Online Booking for Limited Use of BIS Facilities in the Holiday Period

BIS Administration recognizes that access to the BIS facilities (courts, Pool, field) can be an important part of some families’ plans to remain physically active while the school is closed.

To ensure we are maintaining our policy of social distancing, we will trial an online booking system for limited facilities use based on the following guidelines:

• Only one family is allowed on campus at any given time
• No booking – no entry – no exemption
• Students MUST be accompanied and supervised by a parent
• Strictly family use only – no friends or coaches permitted
• Facility Use Waiver book must be signed prior to each use
• Individual family use is limited to 1 hr/day
• To ensure a fair distribution of popular time slots, individual families cannot book the same time on consecutive days (eg. Mon-Fri, 7-8am)

Security staff will monitor bookings but we request your cooperation to ensure this system can continue by:

• Only booking times you will use the facility – no ‘no shows’
• Don’t come to school without a booking
• Being punctual for the start and finish of your time slot
• Bring your own equipment including water to drink
• Practice good personal hygiene particularly hand sanitizing – be aware others will be touching everything you touch
