Nyepi
Ask your child to explain the Nyepi Celebration to you. Secondary students have learned about the importance of the Silent Day for Hindus and Ogoh-ogoh. I am sure we all look forward to sharing this special day with our fellow Balinese neighbors as we unplug and reflect on our journey. Selamat Hari Nyepi Tahun Baru Caka 1944.

PPKM 3 – Governor’s Directive
I understand that a meeting will take place after Nyepi with the Education Dinas and the Covid Taskforce. The Faculty and I, join you, in hoping that the decisions made will allow students to get back onto campus. The Mayor of Denpasar’s circular supersedes the PPKM Level currently, once that directive is removed and PPKM Level 3 is decided BIS will move quickly to our 50% schedule (every other day). When Level 2 is announced we will move back to 100% face-to-face learning. I will keep you informed as information becomes available.
