Concept Based Mathematics

Jennifer Wathall is leading BIS faculty members through a Conceptual Math Training program. There have been rich discussions, challenging provocations and deep thinking regarding our beliefs about math instruction and how children learn best. I’d like to thank the BIS Board for supporting this initiative and professional learning, I’d like to thank our faculty who experienced the workshop and those who covered classes over the past two days so that the learning could occur. Finally a big thank you to Jennifer, who we look forward to seeing again in April!

Ambassador Program

BIS is proud to launch our Ambassador Program. By introducing new families to BIS, you will receive a tuition refund for each new student who joins our family. In this way, we hope you will spread the good word about what is happening at BIS on a daily basis and help us increase enrolment. Thank you for being a BIS Ambassador!

Please join us for our Santa Fund Run next Friday to support our PTA charities. The run will begin at 9:00 a.m. Entry fees (donations) will be accepted before the race begins, during the race and afterward! 🙂

Our final assembly will begin at 11:00 a.m. that same morning and will feature many student performances. I hope you can join.
