Senior Sports Banquet – Tuesday June 7th 2016 @ 6pm
As we come to the end of another great sporting year, the Senior Sports Banquet is just a few weeks away. The Senior Sports Banquet is an evening where we recognize the best BIS has to offer in terms of sportsmanship, dedication, general improvement and overall ability. Although this is mostly to recognize our senior travelling teams, there are a few Junior awards as well: notably from the IISSAC Swim Team and Junior Athletics. We usually hand out these awards first just in case the kids need to get home early!
The Banquet always sparks an interesting debate among the seniors, because we ask that all those attending do so in formal attire: i.e. shirt and tie for the boys, dresses for the girls, no flip flops. Cost is 150 000 IDR per person, which includes a succulent dinner, musical entertainment, a BIS Dragon pinata, and of course: the awards presentation itself. However, the entire BIS community is welcome to attend as we celebrate the completion of another amazing year.
