Grade 11 and 12 Parents: USA Standardized Tests for University Applications
All Grade 11 and 12 students applying to the US (sometimes non-USA universities also require the tests) should be aware of the following SAT and ACT test dates at BIS for this academic year 2016-2017:

Note: There is also a December test date, but students will have to pick another test center (closest one is probably in Jakarta).

Current Grade 11 students may want to take their first SAT in November/June and/or their first ACT in December. They should all be practicing and “studying” for one or both of these tests. I will be talking to the Grade 11 students about these tests in the coming weeks. Some students have signed up for the PSAT which will take place on October 19. More information about this test will come out shortly.
