From the Board: Committee to review Mission, Vision and Core Values

Dear BIS Community,

Our school is about to start a new cycle in relation to our CIS and WASC accreditation. We must therefore start preparing for the development of the next BIS strategic plan by first reviewing our Mission, Vision and Core Values with at least a five year timeframe in mind.

The School Development Topic Group, consisting of Board Members, members of the community and the Head of School, is assigned to evaluate the current strategy and to define the new strategic objectives for the future.

We are seeking members of our community to join us in this important task. If you have a particular skill set that you think will contribute to this effort as well as the time to commit, please contact Denise.

We estimate an involvement period of 6 to 9 months, with monthly meetings and maybe a one or a two day retreat.
