Week 12-Forward Preparation
After completing our first term and coming back to the routine of learning, it is time to reflect on where we have been and start embracing the challenges that lie ahead. Our first term reports provide us with our areas of strength and as well as those that remain areas of growth. It is important to use this information for our benefit. Teachers use this data to adjust their learning objectives and set new and appropriate targets for their students. Students need to use this data to examine their study habits and ask themselves have they taken advantage of all of the services that their teachers and BIS offers. Please remember that all of our teachers are available after school and that we also run specific days for review for Math and Science. We are also extending our ATL club to help students with their organizational habits into the second term. If you are uncertain about any of these extension services please have your student ask their teacher or come straight to the Secondary office. We have great things ahead of us!

I know that a number of our students are performing as well as sharing some of their community outreach programs with our BIS community. Thank you again for all of the hard work from our PTFA volunteers, it is shaping up to be a fantastic event!
