CONGRATULATIONS SIERRA!

Last weekend, while most of us were enjoying a lazy weekend, Sierra Anderson (Gr 12) traveled to Tulumben, on the North-East coast of Bali, to compete in the  2016 ‘Australian Depth National Freediving Championship’.
On Sunday the 13th November Sierra declared and attained a depth of 28m in what is known as a CWT dive (constant weight discipline). This fantastic effort is a new Indonesian women’s CWT record meaning she has dived deeper in this discipline than any other Indonesian woman before her.
Sierra has only had nine days of actual freediving in her life and is already a record holder. She now has her sights firmly set on the Indonesian records for the 3 remaining disciplines: Constant weight no fins, Free immersion, and Static Apnea.
