SENIOR BOYS FOOTBALL REPORT FROM CAPTAIN JAMES
The boy’s football team started of the footballing season in a great way. After a tough BSSA competition, we ended up as winners winning 3 games, drawing 2 and losing 1. We came with the need to retain our title from last years BSSA and we did, through hard work, dedication and perseverance. Although we learnt there are lots to improve on, what made us winners and a better team than the rest was our will, passion and desire to win. We were the best team in the sense that we collaborated and stuck by each other in difficult situations in order to remain positive and lift our spirits.
After winning our first tournament, it only drives us to work even harder and try fixing the weaknesses within our team in order to be the best team at IISSAC 2017. The entirety of the boys football team, would like to thank Australian Independence School for hosting this years BSSA tournament on their football pitch. Furthermore we would like to thank our wonderful coach Mr Wood for guiding us to victory. Mr Wood has put his dedication and effort into the team, making us feel as if we have someone supporting us at all times. For this we would all like to express our gratitude towards him.
