Greetings from the PTFA,

We are nearing the term break with only a week to go, but the upcoming week is a busy one on the PTFA front.

Due to popular demand, we will be ordering a batch of BIS hoodies. These are dark blue hoodies with the BIS emblem and a zipper in front. They are 100% cotton, and made by the BIS uniform provider, so the sizing is the same as with the uniforms. We will be taking orders, accompanied by the full payment in cash, at both school entrances on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (October 4-6) at 7:30-8am and 2:45-3:15pm.

Prices vary according to size:

Age 2-8 IDR 230,000
Age 10-14 IDR 250,000
Age 14+ IDR 270,000

On Friday, October 6, the PTFA is celebrating Spirit Week with our first BBQ this year! If your children tend to order lunch for the entire week, please keep this in mind. You can send money with your child, and they will be able to purchase lunch from the PTFA stand next to the basketball court in front of Grade 1. Lower Primary kids (Preschool to Grade 2) can order their hotdogs in the morning with their homeroom teacher. Hotdogs and Gimbabs are IDR 20,000, and there will also be vegetarian snacks and fruit.

Our next PTFA meeting will take place this Wednesday, October 4, at 7:50am at the MPR, and you should have received the agenda by email. Come order your hoodies, and get the latest updates on the many projects we’re working on. Look forward to seeing you there!
