Gymnastics in PE

All students in the PYP, MYP and even the DP are currently doing gymnastics in PE. They are learning to move their bodies with control, flow and poise practicing balances, tumbling, and vaulting.

As well as improving movement skills through sport specific dynamic warm ups and balance training drills, all students will be developing core and upper body strength with a progressive overload program of planks and push ups.

Students in the MYP will be working towards choreographing a movement performance, which may include elements of gymnastics, dance, martial arts, set to music of their own choice.
