PTFA News
The holidays are nearly upon us again!
This year the PTFA would like to celebrate the last day of school, Friday December 15, with a Non-uniform Day. It is an opportunity for the students to wear clothes other than their uniform, and even dress in the spirit of the holidays if they wish.
This is also a PTFA fundraising activity, and the students will have an opportunity to make a donation of IDR 20,000 or more on a voluntary basis. Half of the proceeds will go to the East Bali Poverty Project’s Mount Agung Evacuee relief, and the other half to the regular charities we support, as well as specific projects within the BIS.
We would also like to encourage the students to participate in a Mindfulness exercise that day. The PTFA will provide colourful pieces of paper for the students to write something they are grateful for, mindful of, or a positive thought they wish to send out to the world for the coming year. These papers will then be attached to the bale with ribbons, and will hopefully be as beautiful as they are uplifting.
