PTFA News

Happy Friday from the PTFA!

The holidays are well behind us, and this week everyone seemed to be back in full force, including the PTFA.

On Wednesday we had our first PTFA meeting in 2018, and the main topic of discussion was the upcoming BIS Fair which will take place on April 12. So many wonderful parents turned up and volunteered to help out in various ways. We were able to form groups in charge of sponsorship, vendors, games and food, and look forward to a very successful Fair.

More information will follow soon, but at this time if you have a few hours to spare here and there, please contact us and we will let you know how you can participate and help out. Also, if you have a business, work for one, or have a good lead on a business that might be interested in sponsoring the Fair, please let us know.

This morning our New Parent Representative, Allison, organized one of our biannual New Parent Coffee Mornings. It was a lovely event with a great mix of new, not so new, as well as some true BIS veteran parents chatting away, and a warm, positive buzz filling the room. The PTFA would like to welcome all the new families to the BIS, and we hope you will enjoy being part of our multicultural community as much as we do!

Enjoy the weekend, and remember to join the PTFA’s “Bali Island Parents” Facebook group if you haven’t done so yet.
