BIS Library has a few “sneak preview” classes
While the Library is not officially open yet (we still have books to shelf, tech to install and and a few pieces of furniture to receive), we did have a few select classes come in and use the available spaces in a sort of “soft” opening.
Mr. Wood’s Grade 11 History class was the first group to actually hold an official class last Friday, February 9th in our “quiet study room”. We also had a few Primary students working with select teachers and administration during our ISA testing time. Grade 12 also used the Secondary side of the library to study for their mock exams this week.
It was a short but solid peek into the academic future of the new BIS Library. All patrons worked responsibility, enjoyed the space, “tested” out the furniture and hardware and generally eased in to what will become a focal point of the school campus.
Rest assure, when are we are truly ready to open and welcome ALL members of the BIS community, all stakeholders will be notified. Stay tuned!
And, I repeat, NO FOOD 🙂
