BIS Athletics Results

After a hasty relocation to our own facilities the BIS Athletics Championships were held under cool overcast skies much to the delight of the students and teachers.

A number of new records were set throughout the day:

• 400m: Charlie (12 girls), Tristan (15 boys)
• Long Jump: Laura (14 girls), Natasha (15 girls)
• Shot Put: Kristina (11 girls), Nathan (15 boys)
• Discus: Emma (9 girls), Kristina (11 girls), Kalinda (15 girls), Nathan (15 boys)
• High Jump: Skye (11 girls), Laura (14 girls), Maren (15 girls)
• Javelin: Stefanie (16+ girls)
• Triple Jump: Skye (11 girls), Natasha (15 girls)

We also had record equalling performances in:

• High Jump: Sienna and Seo Yeon (9 girls), Nina (10 girls), Manon (13 girls)

In the race for the Athletics house championship it was Baruna (669) holding off Saraswati (648), Ganesha (584) and Dewi Sri (473).
