New BIS Counselor

Hello new and returning BIS families,

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am the new K12 Counselor at BIS and I am very happy to be a part of this community. I just moved here from the Dominican Republic with my partner Quim who is a counselor at Green School and our seven year daughter, Kenia.  I am a licensed family therapist and have spent the majority of my career as a school counselor in international schools around the globe.

At BIS, I am teaching Health in grades 6-10 and will be assisting the DP students with college readiness and university applications. I’ll also be visiting the elementary school classrooms to share social-emotional content and will be meeting with small student groups via “Lunch Bunch” to get to know them better.

I am available to meet with students and parents about any concerns, challenges, or questions that might arise during the school year.
