Message from the Head of School – Sept 28th

EOTC Returns
Many thanks to our wonderful faculty members who spent the last three evenings sleeping in tents, fighting mosquitoes and waking up with sore backs. Thank you to Mr. Sutherland for all of your efforts with organizing planning and orchestrating the camps. I know the students enjoy the experience, become a more cohesive and caring bunch and learn as well about the lives of the Balinese people. Welcome home!

Calling all Marketers
BIS is beginning a new marketing campaign. Our marketing coordinator, Ms. Elfira and I need your help. If you have a background in marketing or currently work in the field, we would appreciate your assistance in helping us craft our new print campaign. Please send me an email indicating your interest to join our task force. Once the task force has been formed we will meet on four occasions for 90 minutes each. Our work will be creative and focused. Thank you for your consideration.

April 17 – Indonesian General Election Day
April 17, 2019 has been announced as Indonesia’s General Election Day. BIS will not hold classes for students on this day. Our accrediting agencies will be on campus this week, April 15-18, so many of us Kitas holding faculty members will be at work on this day, learning about the self study process with our WASC and CIS workshop leaders.

The Board and I would like to inform the community that any current community members are most welcome to view these documents, Board Policy Manual and Board By-Laws, at your convenience. They are located in my office, feel free to drop by and have a read.
