Grade 10 Dominates the First Round of Kahoot

On Thursday, October 25th the first Kahoot reading comprehension winner of the year was announced. In a literacy-focused group differentiated competition pitting all grade levels against each other, the Grade 10 students ran away from the rest of the field quickly and with authority. Grade 10 posted an 8-week average of 91.07%, which beats last year’s Grade 11s for the best overall average per round as well as being the first grade to ever average over 90%.
All grades had at least one exemplary performance they can be quite proud of, but Grade 10 had more. They actually won the weekly best-score 5 times in a row, which is also unprecedented.
Full standings are below, and best of luck in the 2nd round.
