Library Looking for “Mother Tongue” Books
The BIS Library is seeking some extraordinarily generous parents to assist in expanding out “Mother Tongue”/foreign language collection. While we already have a solid foundational beginning of language books in Korean, Japanese, Spanish, German, French and Bahasa, we are looking to not only increase the depth of these books to support current students using these languages, but to expand and include other languages.
So, if during your holiday travels you come across some potential resources or if these books are already in your home collections you are no longer using and are in good condition , please consider donating books in your families’ native language to the BIS Library. We would be extremely grateful and would credit your family/names for the donation with a note in the book for those who enjoy them in the future to recognize.
