Message from the Head of School – February 21, 2020
BIS remains at Level I with regards to the CoronaVirus – all school activities continue as normal. Please remember to use TravelTracker@baliis.net to notify us when you are traveling and please keep your sick child home until 24-hours fever free and cough and congestion-free. Thank you for your support to keep our community healthy and happy.
I would like to thank Aine Quinn, Mary MacDonald, Dewa Agastya, Michael Collins and Ted Wilson for chaperoning the secondary dance last week. These faculty members not only provided a safe and caring environment for our children to enjoy, but also gave up their Valentine’s evening. Thank you! I understand the Student Council put on a great party – well done!
Pak NoahJon and our language teachers, Ibu Kristina, Ibu Martina, Ibu Dewi, Ibu Sri, Ibu Ina, Ibu Marie, Ibu Lucy and Ibu Jackie have created a Mother Tongue celebration for next Tuesday morning, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the MPR. Please join us then to learn about the importance of Mother Tongue development and share your Mother Tongue with our students.
Twenty-four students traveled to Surabaya this morning for the IISSAC Basketball tournament. Good luck to both teams.
Re-enrollment forms will be available on March 15, 2020. Please be reminded of a few important initiatives:
- Pay all school fees by April 15, 2020 and receive 5% discount
- Pay multi-year school fees by April 15, 2020 and receive an 8% discount and lock-in tuition rates at current fees
- Become a BIS Ambassador! Introduce BIS to a friend or colleague resulting in a new enrollment and earn 5 million off next year’s tuition fees.
