Grade 3 Explorers Unit
As the Grade 3 students embarked on their unit about explorations, they were invited to imagine what they would say to their chosen explorer if they had the chance to meet them… Here are some of their questions. Can you guess who is who?

What’s the next step in our inquiry? Biography writing, of course! Students will follow the writing process. So far we have worked on Prewriting. Stay tuned in a future eNews article to see the next parts of the writing process!

Dear BIS Community,

We are the official yearbook committee for 2020-2021!

To get the ball rolling on how we would like this year’s book to look, we thought we would share a bit about last year’s efforts. Did you know that we shared a fully digital version on June 10th with the BIS community? Here is the link in case you missed it. Don’t forget to enter the following password: BISYB1920. 

Some good news… While we were not able to print it in May due to the COVID19 situation, we have been in touch with our regular yearbook publisher and they will be happy to print a set of books for families who wish to purchase one. The estimated cost is around Rp.400,000 per copy – if we order more than 100 copies, the price will be Rp.315,000. Click this link to order your copy. Orders need to be placed by December 4th, 2020 and your books will be ready in the new year. There is a copy of the Yearbook in the Library if you would like to have a sneak peek!
