The Counseling Corner Has A New Website. – Counseling Corner at BIS
This website is for parents and students in Primary and Secondary school. You will find all about Social and Emotional counseling and college counseling in interesting blogs and webinars, as well as updates from Universities and colleges around the world.
The first posts on the social and emotional page are about screen-time and social media. On the college counseling page, I added interesting webinars about gap-year, transitioning to university, and what universities are looking for during their admission process.

Personal Project 2021-2022
Grade 10 students are hard at work completing their final independent research project in their final year in the MYP! Students have already chosen a product that they are interested in creating, emailed their supervisors, and are in the process of meeting and discussing their plans and progress.
Important & Upcoming Dates for Personal Project Students:
- September 10 – First Draft of Report (Criteria A) due
- October 22 – First Draft of Report (Criteria B) due
- December 3 – First Draft of Report (Criteria C) due
- January 31 – Complete Report Draft due
- February 24 – Final Report & Product due

“CICAK AND KANCIL” INDONESIAN FOLKTALE PERFORMED BY DRAMA 6-7
Welcome to Virtual BIS Stage where we will share virtual performances and skits showcasing our students’ talents and evolution of their creative confidence. Give it up for students in Drama 6-7 performing an Indonesian folktale “Cicak and Kancil” in the style of Reader’s Theater.
To celebrate the vibrant culture of the Indonesian archipelago, students in 6-7 drama course have been exploring the traditional story featuring two common animals, cicak and kancil (a small deer), and have put on a dramatic showcase introducing this tale of rivalry and wit.
