Personal Project Exhibition
Amazing job to our Grade 10 students for showcasing their talents and hard work over the last year!  Students had great conversations with students from every grade level in the school about their product, process, and learning during this project.  Thank you so much for taking the time to come by and see/hear all about their awesome accomplishments.

Grade 9 Individuals & Societies
Over the past months students in I&S grade 9 have worked on a variety of topics and tasks, broadening their knowledge and understanding as well as developing their ATL skills.

Currently, the students are exploring the unit ‘Global Inequalities’ where they focus on different Sustainable Development Goals. While working together students develop as strong communicators.  They practice different forms of communication for example; a Ted-Ed speech as well cartoon drawing. Being back in school makes working together a lot more exciting!

Some cartoons the students created;

Grade 10 Music
We are currently studying gamelan, through performing and exploring the important cultural relevance of this beautiful art form. The secondary music room is home to an antique set of gamelan instruments, purchased by the PTA back in 2011, and are estimated to be 100 years old. It is lovely to see the instruments being played again, and for the grade 10 students being immersed in a culturally enriching opportunity. Stay tuned for our upcoming performance at the Art Sharing event, which will take place early in June (date to be confirmed).

Service as Action
The SOS Food Drive group completed a highly successful food drive throughout March. The group was able to gather over 160kg of food supplies, which were then forwarded to SOS (Scholars of Sustenance) and subsequently used to feed families in the community.

An amazing achievement given that students were online during the lead-up to the event. A huge congratulations to the following Grade 9 students in the Food Drive group: Emma, Yunsol, Noemie, Tata, Noah, Manu, Lindi, Jasmine, Max, Florian, Mike, and Micha.

Also a big thanks to their supervisors Ibu Putu and Ms. Green for their guidance and support. Below is a Facebook post from Scholars of Sustenance, along with a certificate and some photos from the day of the Food Drive.

Once again, congratulations to all involved!

ACT & SAT Upcoming Test Date

Dear Students,

Please find the upcoming SAT & ACT test date and registration deadlines.

The SAT and the ACT are the two different tests that students are required to take for admittance to a US university. Tests are optional for students to take either the SAT or the ACT and submit their scores to their prospective universities. There is no advantage of taking one test over another, so it is important to choose the test that is best for you.
