Message from the Head of School – September 2, 2022
We are obviously very excited to be returning to our (EOTC) Education Outside The Classroom this coming week. As with many aspects of school life, we operate a three way triangle with parents in terms of communications and collaboration; the three points being parent-student-school. During the last few weeks, the school has had many sessions with our wonderfully excited students about behaviour expectations. However, I would appreciate it therefore if as parents, you could help the school reinforce our expectations by having a final chat with your child/children about behaviour and expectations before we leave. It is important that everyone is safe and that the participants, students and staff, are not put at risk by inappropriate or unsafe behaviour. Thank you so much for your support in making our community safe.
For those who have volunteered for serving on a strategic planning committee, a gentle reminder that our first meeting will be on Monday 05th September from 0800-0900, upstairs in the library.
We now have a third food provider, Sanur Deli. Orders may be placed via Whatsapp only to Annie Sihombing to the following number 0818356127. Annie has provided a link to the menu. Note that we expect to have our fourth provider onboard soon. We hope that by having 4 established providers that this will provide a diverse and cost effective means of obtaining lunches.
Our PTA held a very successful bake sale this week, well done! The next big event will be a “Potluck” Dinner on Friday 30th September, after school. Please do come along and join in the fun. We are already beginning to feel a return to the wonderful sense of community and homely feel that existed before covid. Let’s keep this momentum going!
Advance notice of important dates; Thursday 15th September, half day for faculty professional development/strategic planning, Friday 16th September, school closed.
