COVID Corner – Sept 24, 2021

The Health Committee has suggested that I create a COVID Corner that reports the BIS Covid cases we have experienced within the past week and their current status. If interested, have a look at this Corner weekly.

To begin our face-to-face learning, BIS tested our 108 employees using the Rapid Antigen test. 107 employees tested negative. The positive result was later tested using the gold standard – PCR test – and the result was negative. All Clear!

A Grade 9 student came into close contact with a positive case this week (Primary contact). Four students identified themselves as close contacts (Secondary contact) and are currently isolating at home. The Primary contact will PCR test on Sunday and the result will be communicated to Grade 9 families once available.
