From the Secondary Principal

Dear Parents,
I hope that you are enjoying the new e-news format, and can find the information that you need. We are happy to receive feedback.

Next week is a busy one, with our re-accreditation visit from Monday to Wednesday, the Teacher Appreciation lunch on Wednesday, and the holiday fair on Friday. In preparation you will see that the campus has been spruced up and is looking lovely. Thanks to everyone who has helped us to look, and be, our best!

A number of students are ‘losing’ items at the moment. Many of these items are found around campus, having been left by their owners. In particular we see expensive laptops left outside. Please encourage your children to be careful with their possessions. Each student has a locker for valuables, so should bring a lock to keep their things safe. It takes a little longer than leaving an item on a table or in a bale, but it is much safer!

A reminder of the academic support that is offered at 3pm: Maths is offered three times a week and there is an ATL Club on Thursdays to help students with skills such as organization and avoiding multi-tasking. We suggest that some students could use the sessions, and others are free to elect to come.

We look forward to seeing you on Friday at the Fair!

Best wishes,
Helen
