BIS 2016 Mathematics Team Announced

On the heels of their success from the Bali Math Competition on November 7th, six students will represent BIS at the Southeast Asian Mathematics Competition (SEAMC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next February.

Grade Eight students Joyce Antoinette Dizon, Jae Yoon Lee, and Rufus Rice, as well as Grade Seven students Malikha Aryatantra, Anastasia Basuki, and Daniel Steinhauser will match mathematical wits with some of the top under-15 Math students from Singapore, Hong Kong and beyond.

BIS has competed in the event since 2009, and has enjoyed good success for a comparatively small school. We wish our 2016 representatives much success and mathematical prowess.
