Gary Bencheguib, Filmmaker & BIS Alumni is Back , November 3-5!

You know how it goes: “once a member, always a member”. We could not be happier to welcome back Gary Bencheguib, class of 2013. He will be taking a short break from his busy schedule in New York to meet with our students and community in November 3-5 and present his two latest projects before the official release in early 2017.

Beginning in 2009, he founded Make A Change Bali.  As a strong advocate in raising awareness about environmental issues, he completed his New York Film Academy thesis film, The Reclamation and has recently set out on a unique voyage in “Recycled Mississipi” to combine his two passions: the environment and documentary filmmaking .

Gary will also be one of our keynote to discuss sustainable urbanization at Bali MUN V, November 4-5. He has kindly offered to mentor our student video team in charge of documenting the conference.
