Primary Principal Update
Dear Parents,
The break is almost upon us…. but not yet!
It is a very exciting time for our students. That said, I do apologise for the very busy run into the holidays. Thank you to the PTFA for organising the sausage sizzle in our new courtyard earlier this week. The children were particularly pleased with the ice pops. Congratulations to all our outstanding early childhood swimmers. They were spectacular!
Below is an overview of some significant events going on during the final 5 days of school. I hope this is helpful.
Monday, March 19th
As you already know, primary students are involved in the BIS Swim Carnival all morning, so they will need to bring everything they need for this. In the afternoon, some students will be practicing for BIS Has Talent, so they will also need to bring clothes for this.
Thursday, March 22nd
This is Student Led Conferences. All of you have already received invitations for this day. You can read my previous message in the eNews if you want to refresh your memory about what is involved. Please remember that this is not a regular school day.
Friday, March 23rd
This is the last day of school. Please join us if you can for our final assembly, which we have turned into BIS Has Talent. The show will begin at 1:30 in the MPR, and approximately 30 upper primary students will entertain us. I invite you to bring picnics, cushions, blankets and a sense of fun.
As always, thank you so much for your ongoing positive support. I look forward to seeing you in the coming days.
Warm regards,
Alan Lorenzini
