PTA Mindfulness Activity Update

This years PTA’s mindfulness activity has teamed up with the Casa Vida orphanage in Denpasar to buy holiday gifts for the 19 less fortunate children. Each of the children nominated a piece of clothing that they would really like to have. Parents are invited to buy any item individually or as a group. The PTA invites you to look at the rack of unsold gift items (clothes) by Wednesday 12 December and contribute IDR 225,000 for each gift, which includes a handmade bag made by the women at BaliLife Suwung Community Centre. The PTA will take the gifts to Casa Vida on 17 December.

We would like to thank the parents who have already generously contributed in making this holiday season extra special for them.

Bali Life Suwung Ladies Community Centre – Sale of hand made bags
The PTA has teamed with Bali life Suwung Community centre (one the charities that BIS PTA supports) for the ladies to make gift string bags for the holiday season. Each bag is hand made by the ladies and will be sold at a price of IDR 40,000. All proceeds go to the Bali life Suwung Community Centre (Rubbish Dump area). They will be sold until Dec 12 at drop off and pick up time near the library.
