The PTA would like to invite anyone who is interested in having a tour of these yayasans to come along! Please contact any of the PTA committee members if you would like to join us.

The PTA will be visiting these yayasans to hand over the donation. The visit to Kupu Kupu has been confirmed, the visit to Bali Life will be confirmed on a later date.

Kupu Kupu in Ubud
Date: 07 February, Thursday
Time: 08.00 am
Depart from: BIS Courtyard.

If you have a few minutes, here is a brief explanation of what they do:

Kupu-Kupu Foundation improves the lives of people with disabilities in Bali. They help improve lives by assisting with medical care, medicines, physiotherapy and surgical operations. They provide wheelchairs and other physical aids and adapt facilities to be easier to use by people with disabilities, and also work to increase awareness in the local community of the challenges faced by people with disabilities.

They transport disabled children to and from school and help disabled people become more independent by selling and promoting handicrafts that they make.

If time permits, we will also visit the shop.

Chinese New Year BBQ  – February 1, Friday
