Chinese New Year Dragon & Lion Dance

Next Friday February 1, Bali Island School will be celebrating Chinese New Year . All students will attend a Chinese New Year Dragon & Lion Dance performance on the covered basketball court at 8:00 am. Parents are also welcome to come and enjoy the performance. All students, staff and parents attending on Friday February 1 are invited to wear red clothes, as the colour symbolises good fortune and joy and is found everywhere during Chinese New Year. Thank you to Ibu Yensi, mother of Yu-Fei in PS 3 and Bali Island School Alumni for helping to organise this performance.

The PTA will be running a BBQ lunch on the day with a selection of yummy dim sum for all students and staff. The PTA will be taking pre-orders from Monday morning through until Friday for the BBQ.
