PYP Exhibition Invitation

We would like to invite all Preschool to Grade 12 parents to attend the Bali Island School Grade 5 Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition. The PYP Exhibition is an extended collaborative inquiry providing “an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the International Baccalaureate (IB) learner profile that have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP.”  (IB 2007)

The students inquiries are being guided by the central idea ‘Creative expressions provides many ways to communicate ideas & emotions’. Students are working in small groups or individually as they inquire into a range of areas related to the central idea including Fabrics, Street Art, Media, Fashion, Astrology, Language, Activism, Food and Cultural Art.

The Exhibition will be open for visitors in the Multipurpose Room at the times listed below. Please note that each session will begin with a performance from the Grade 5 students so if you are joining us, you are asked to arrive promptly at the start of the sessions. All students will attend the Exhibition with their teachers.

Grade 5 parents are asked to join us from 1:10- 2:45 on Wednesday 28 May as we will have a presentation for  our Grade 5 students the end of that session.

Tuesday 28 May

10:00 – 12:30 pm and 1:15 – 2:45 pm

Wednesday 29 May

10:00 – 12:30 pm and 1:10 – 2:30 pm
