Message from the Head of School – May 31, 2019

Congratulations to our Grade 5 students who completed their Exhibition on Wednesday. The performance and individual displays were unique and informative. You each have definitely been on a learning journey. You presented your learning clearly and confidently, well done! Thank you to Ibu Nadia, Ibu Nyoman and Ibu Eta for your leadership and guidance, thank you to the faculty advisors and to Mr. Eldred for your support.

Congratulations are also due to the Graduating Class of 2019! I really enjoyed my first BIS Graduation ceremony. The gamelan, dancing and songs made it a very special evening. Thank you to Ibu Riana and our maintenance crew for making our small field look so beautiful. So many people, teachers and parents, family and friends helped this cohort have such a successful final year at BIS, thank you to each of you.

The BSSA Results from Athletics are just in… Our BIS Junior Dragons won the trophy and the Senior Dragons came in second to Dyatmika. Congratulations to Mr. Sutherland and all of our volunteers for a great day’s efforts. The PTA provided food for all and also worked tirelessly. Well done Bali Island School Community!
